The funeral of Harry Abbott, who was accidentally killed at the Queen City Mine at Commerce, Okla., last Friday, while coming out of the shaft for lunch, was held Sunday at his home in Commerce. Interment was made in the G.A.R. Cemetery. He is survived by a wife and seven children. He with three other men, it is claimed, were walking up the ladder and were at a distance of sixty feet from the top, the ladder broke and resulted in the death of Mr. Abbott.
