Carol was an active member of Enterprise Baptist Church and her Older Adult Sunday School class.
Carol was a retired legal secretary and licensed insurance agent with Willis DuVall-Edison Insurance Agency, Edison, GA. Carol had a love for animals but had a very special feline friend "Little Girl". Carol had a "green thumb" in raising African Violets. In caring for those African Violets, she only watered them on Monday's. She also enjoyed cooking, especially something sweet.
Carol was born March 27, 1936 in Edison, GA to John Coy Isler and Hilda Bass Isler of Coleman, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Melvin Isler, Johnny Isler and sisters Marie Sanborn and Betty Boyett.
Survivors include: A VERY SPECIAL friend and spouse; a brother; 2 sisters and a brother in law. Even though Carol never had any children of her own, she had a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly and that love was mutual. Carol also had a step daughter and a step son, as well as a host of step grandchildren.
One of Carol's favorite verses of scripture was: "Don't let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father's House has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? John 14: 1 – 3. Carol loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
