Andres married Maria Eugenia Solis de Abarca in Mexico City on June 11th, 1972, and has 5 children, Andres, Nidia, Nanci, Juan, and Daniel, and 21 grandkids. He loved fishing whenever his kids would talk about going fishing, he was the first one to say "I WANNA GO FISHING, IM GONNA GET MY STUFF READY LOL."
