Nina Aarons, 70, lifelong resident of Norwalk, passed away peacefully at Norwalk Hospital on September 27th, 2023.

Born on April 11, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Lillian Aarons.

Nina worked for NEON as a childcare provider for several years and enjoyed working with children on a daily basis. Her next career was at the deli at Stop & Shop; which allowed her to be the social butterfly she was with her customers and providing her with long-lasting friendships.

Nina was an avid Yankees fan. She liked to collect clowns as well as anything with anchors or owls. She loved being around people and socializing. Nina enjoyed playing cards, playing bingo and shuffleboard. She enjoyed spending time at her favorite places in town; Duchess, Uncle Joe's Restaurant, 507, and especially getting her favorite hot dogs from Dairy King. Nina loved spending time with her friends and was always going somewhere around town. If anyone needed a ride or a helping hand; they knew they could count on her.

Nina is survived by her son, Jay Aarons (Andrea Taylor); her longtime companion William Bernini, her brother Ronnie Aarons, Her brother Butch Aarons(Eve), and her sister Pinky LaRose(Brad) as well as 4 grand-daughters, several nieces and nephews who adored her and her great-niece and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Judy Kennedy and brother-in-law Ed.

Burial will take place on Friday October 6th 2023 at 10:30am at St. John's Cemetery 223 Richards Ave, Norwalk CT. We welcome friends and family to attend and share their memories of Nina at that time.

In honor of Nina, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association P.O Box 7023 Merrifield, VA 22116-7023 or The American Heart Association P.O Box 840692 Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
