Survivors include his wife, Frances Thompson, Clay Center, KS; two daughters, Lea Anna Allmon, Gulf Breeze, Florida; Vicky Mall, Wheaton, Illinois; brother, Melvin Thompson, Manhattan, KS; two sisters, Olive Constable, Blue Rapids, KS; Ruby Ackenback of Attica, KS; and four grandsons.

Funeral services at the Idana Presbyterian Church, Burial in Parallel Cemetery, Clifton, KS. The family suggests memorials to the church or Clay County Hospice. Neill-Schwensen Funeral Home, Clay Center, KS is in charge of arrangements.
