Olive I. (Thompson) Constable, 86, of Blue Rapids, Kansas died Thursday, Nov. 17, 1994, at Community Memorial Hospital, Marysville, KS. She was born Nov. 26, 1907, at Clifton, Kan., the daughter of Joseph and Wilhelmina "Minnie" (Wicklund)Thompson.

She was baptized at the Idlewild Presbyterian Church and was a former member of the Lamar United Methodist Church.

She married Warren Constable on March 6, 1933, at the courthouse in Clay Center, KS She and her husband farmed in the Swede Creek community many years and she operated a restaurant in Westmoreland for 13 years.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin Thompson and Emmett Thompson.

Survivors include her husband, Warren Constable, Blue Rapids, KS; son, Warren Dan Constable, Blue Rapids, KS; daughter, Dixie Jul (Dale) Hudson, St. Louis, MO; sister, Ruby Achenbach, Attica, KS; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services at Blue Rapids United Methodist Church. Burial in the Parallel Cemetery, Clifton, KS. Memorials may be given to the Blue Valley Nursing Home or the church. Terry Chapel and Funeral Home, Blue Rapids, KS in charge of arrangements.
