Nancy Wiseman married Enoch Abell on 27 November 1822 in Crawford County, Indiana.
Several Abell family members had purchased parcels of land in Crawford County, all near the Wiseman property.
According to Crawford County Tract Records, Vol 1: 1804-1863, four members of the Abel family had land in Crawford County. Enoch Able, Francis Able, George Able and John Able.
John Able purchased 40 acres June 1835, T3 South, R1 East and 40 acres April 1854 in T3S, R1East;
Enoch Able purchased 40 acres June 1854 in T3S, R1W;
Francis Able purchased 154 acres on May 15, 1827 in T4S, R1E;
George Able purchased 40 acres on April 28, 1857 in T3S, R1W
Enoch also purchased land in Dubois County, Indiana and the family was living there on the 1830 and 1840 censuses.
It is presumed that Nancy died in 1848 or 1849 since Enoch remarried again in 1850.
