Rogersville: Eileen Carol Davis Absher, age 82, of Rogersville, went to her Heavenly Home, Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Holston Valley Medical Center. She was a member of Spires Chapel Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Eileen enjoyed reading and gardening. She was preceded by her husband, Harley Absher; parents, Ezekiel and Jessie Gilmore Davis; brothers, Howard Davis and Jerry Davis.

She is survived her loving daughter, Angela Wallace and husband, Jeff; grandson, Austin Wallace; sister, Patsy Mauk and husband, Larry; nieces, Rebekah Mauk; nephew, James Mauk and wife, Christy and Jason Davis; great-niece, Camille Mauk Olson; great-nephew, Elijah Mauk-Olson, Willy Mauk-Olson, Leo Mauk-Olson; several other nieces and nephews.

Visitation hours will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Monday, January 22, 2024 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home, Rogersville.

Funeral service will be conducted 7:00 P.M., Monday, January 22, 2024 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Rick Vannoy officiating. Graveside service will be 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 23, 2024. Those who wish to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:45 P.M.
