Mrs. Betty N. Adams, age 94, of Rt. 2, Pelham, died Monday, April 16, in the Mitchell County Hospital. Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, April 18 at 3:00 in the Mizpah Primitive Baptist church with Elder Max Childs and Elder Leon Andrews officiating.
Mrs. Adams was born in Decatur County, Georgia, September 2, 1889. She was a homemaker, a member of the Mizpah Primitive Baptist Church, and was married to the late John Henry Adams.
Survivors are one son, Ellis Adams of Pelham; one daughter, Mrs. Mercer Humphries of Albany; two sisters, Mrs. Sallie Beckwith of Pelham and Mrs. Nancy Beckwith of Monticello, Fla.; seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Braswell Funeral Home of Pelham was in charge of arrangements.
