Services for Mrs. Viola Abraugh Smith, 88, of Lake Murvaul were held Wednesday, June 13, at 11:30 a.m. in the Rose-Neath Southside Chapel in Shreveport, LA with arrangements out of Jimerson Funeral Home in Carthage. Rev. Jake Hutto of the United Pentecostal Church, assisted by Rev. Gerald Gardner of Shreveport, officiated the ceremony. Interment followed in Centuries Memorial Park in Shreveport. She passed away Monday, June 11 at her residence.

Mrs. Smith was born in Delhi, LA on January 20, 1902, and was the daughter of Roland Larry Abraugh and Annie Walker Abraugh. Mrs. Smith was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Shreveport and was a housewife. She had lived in Shreveport for many years and was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Robert E. Smith.

She is survived by three daughters, Frances Reagan of Gary, Bobbie Rushton of Waskom, and Judy Frazier of Shreveport; one son, D. H. Burrow of West Memphis, AR; and 16 grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Harold Williams, Melvin Reagan, Victor Reagan, Tony Reagan and Bill Grumble.
