Frank Christner, retired miner, aged 70, died at his home in Glade City, Friday night, March 15. He was born in Somerset County on March 21, 1875, a son of Jacob and Kathryn (Ohler) Christner. Surviving are seven children: Clyde, Meyersdale R.D.; Mrs. Marie Housel, Meyersdale R.D. 3; Mrs. Emma Housel, Meyersdale R.D. 2; George and John Christner, Mrs. Dorothy Ohler and Mrs. Margaret Albright, Baltimore. He was a brother of Jerome Christner, Somerset, and Mrs. Tennie Logsdon, Hyndman. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, at the Konhaus Funeral Home. Interment was made in Pine Hill Cemetery, Brothersvalley Township, under the direction of H. R. Konhaus.
