DIED
On Thursday last, after a short illness, Mr Gideon Barker, in the 83d year of his age - He was for many years a worthy member of the 2d Baptist Church in this town, and was distinguished through a long life for his honesty, integrity, and industry.
Gideon is mentioned in the will of his father John Barker which was dated December 27, 1759 and Probated March 27, 1780. He is also mentioned with his wife Elizabeth, two children Sinthy & Nathaniel in his mother Rebecca's will dated Nov 1796 and Probated June 16, 1800.
