Funeral services for W. H. Gough, 78, of Kelly, Louisiana, were held Tuesday, December 6, at the Springhill Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Hearn of Monroe, and Rev. Cass Crain. Interment was in Adams Cemetery under direction of Riser Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Bob Childress, Jerry Mayes, Howard McCullum, Bowen Eubanks, Bill Toliver, and Roscoe Steen.

Mr. Gough was a native of Caldwell Parish. He was a member of the Sardis Methodist Church for 16 years. He was married to Miss Mary Adams 56 years ago.

Mr. Gough was the father of seven children, five living and two deceased.

Surviving are his widow; two sons, Godfrey Gough, Urania, Leckie [sic Leckey] Gough, Kelly; three daughters, Mrs. H. C. Taylor, Olla, Mrs. V. C. Branan, Houston, Texas, and Miss Lessie Belle Gough, Kelly; seven brothers, Dorce, Taylor, Moses, Ben, Edward, John, and Erve Gough; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews of which three reside in Winnfield. They are Johnnie Steen, John Steen, and Woodrow Gough.
