She was born Oct. 13, 1926 at Ellsworth, to Bruce and Anne (Sheridan) Allen.
She lived in Winona until moving to Spearville in 1972, where she worked at the Spearville Hospital.
She is survived by a son, Dennis and Wife, Sherri Merica, of Spearville, seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was prceded in death by her husband, Marvin; a daughter, Melody; and daughter-in-law, Andrea.
Graveside service will be at the Winona Cemetery, Winona, with David Merica presiding.
