Zadok was the son of Alva Wickes and Phoebe (Marsh) Bennett, he was the twin brother of Oliver Bennett. Zadok married Evaleen Neet, Nov.7, 1896, in Beulah, Crawford county, Kansas. They had six children: Nicholas Wesley, Alva Jacob, Florence Evaleen, Earl Elton, Merl Neet, and Dora Ellen Bennett.
