Elmer Abbott and Line Chapman were married last Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock, at the
groom's home, in Osawkie, by his father ex-Probate Judge Geo. Abbott. The groom is a
prosperous young man of about 19 years of age, and has been raised in Jefferson County.
The bride is well known in this city and the young couple have the best wishes of all
their friends.

"Elmer C. Abbott was born June 30, 1876 at Ozawkie, in Jefferson County, Kansas and
passed away at his home, July 25, 1949 at the age of 73 years and 25 days.
"He was married to Paulina Chapman, Jan. 13, 1895 at Ozawkie, who survives him.
"To this union three children were born: Maude who passed away May 19, 1930; Dean R.
Abbott, Sumer, Washington; Glen A. Abbott, Ozawkie; Six grandchildren: Ella Bledsoe,
Ozawkie; Rolland Abbott, Yakima, Washington; Marjie Black, Sumner, Washington; Theona
Graves, Ozawkie; Charlene Fowler, Kansas City, Mo.; Robert Dean Abbott, Sumner,
Washington; Six great grandsons and one great granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. Mamie
