HAMER FIELDING PINDELL, son of Michael and Jane (Brady) Pindell, was born August 4, 1840, and died April 26, 1915. On October 16, 1860, he was married to Charlotte Gwinner and to this union five children were born: Charlotte Jane, William Albert, Michael Hamer, Cass Thurman and a son who died in infancy. Mr. Pindell unite with the Christian Union at Union Chapel in Franklin Township on February 28, 1874, and when this congregation ceased to exist, he moved his membership to the Ash Ridge Christian Union Church. Besides his wife and children, he leaves one brother and ten grandchildren. Mr. Pindell was President of the First National Bank of Georgetown at the time of his death. His funeral services were conducted at his late residence by the Reverend Frey of the Lutheran Church, and at the Lutheran Church by Reverend Lewis Richey of the Christian Union, assisted by Reverend Quinlan of the Disciples of Christ.
