Rites Held For Cheslie A. Adams
Mr. Cheslie A. Adams Sr., age 77, of Drakes Branch, died Thursday, April 13, 1978.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearl N. Adams; three sons, Cheslie A. Adams, Jr. of Drakes Branch, John T. Adams of Saxe, Harold H. Hagood of South Boston; four daughters, Mrs. Mildred Mangum of South Boston, Mrs. Charlotte Thompson of Chase City, Mrs. Hazel Fitz and Mrs. Shirley Scott both of Drakes Branch; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, John Q. Adams of Drakes Branch, Hugh W. Adams of Randolph, and Theodore Adams of The Plains; one sister, Mrs. Susan Parker of Damascus.
Funeral services were held at Browning Funeral Home on Saturday, April 22, with interment in Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery.
