Charles N. Tomlin, 72, former resident of Selma for a number of years and the grandfather of T. J. Daniels, Jr., died in Anniston at 7:40 p.m. Thursday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Frances Aaron. Funeral services will be held from the First Baptist Church in Roanoke, Alabama, at 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Roanoke. Mr. Tomlin, who resided In Selma for a long period of time prior to 1938, was the husband of the late Mrs. Lula Dodgens Tomlin. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Tomlin Cooper, Birmingham; Mrs. Frances Aaron, Anniston; and two sons. Algie Tomlin, LaGrange, Georgia; Fred Tomlin, Waco, Texas.
