Lawrence M. Aaberg, 72, died Saturday following an extended illness. Memorial services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Burial of the remains will be in Manchester Cemetery.
He was born at Devil's Lake, N.D. He married Mildred Johnson of Joplin in 1940. They lived in Joplin and other Montana communities until 1954, when they moved to Great Falls. He was in the insurance business until illness forced his early retirement.
He is survived by his wife; his mother, Florence Aaberg Aaberg of Shelby; a daughter, Margie Feldman, Edmonds, Wash.; sons, Les Aaberg,of Bozeman; Marv Aaberg, of Mira Lorna, Calif.; Curt Aaberg, of Valier; sisters Mrs. Gus Fransen, of Shelby; Mrs. Dave Fyall, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; a brother, Amos Aaberg, of California; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
