Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at 1 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Oberlin, for Carl Adams, 44, Sherman Township farmer, who died Sunday of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Rev. Ernest Muellere officiated and burial was in Highland Cemetery. Born on Dec. 12, 1919, in Gladwin County, he was married to the former Nova Jean McIntosh on Mar. 1, 1951 in Gladwin. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church at Oberlin.
Survivors besides his wife, Nova Jean, are four daughters, Vickey Yvonne, Linda Sue, Tamela Janet and Pamela Janice; his father, Michael Adams Sr., of Gladwin; two brothers, Michael Adams Jr. and William Adams, of Gladwin; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Endert, of Gladwin and Mrs. Katherine Hemstreet and Mrs. Emma Myles, of Bay City.
