Louie Abeyta was born May 24, 1928 In Saguache,Colorado to Joe and Julia (Woodson) Abeyta. He had lived in Colorado Springs for 33 years. Nr. Abeyta served in the Air Force from 1945 until 1950. He was survived by his wife, Mary; a son, David; two brothers, Augustine of Salida and Ermin of Woodland Park; four sisters, Sarah Lujan of Granada Hills, Caifornia, Mae Lindstom of Woodland Park, Sylvia Rivera of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Bonnie Porco of Salida.
