Mrs. Adams was a member of the Greeneville Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Her family noted, "She was a loving and devoted mother and wife who had many friends.
"She will be sadly missed by all her friends and acquaintances. She brought happiness to people with her smile and caring concern. She had unlimited love for friends and family."
Mrs. Adams was the widow of Angelo Adams, her husband of 61 years who died July 3, 2000.
Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by one daughter: Pam Adams Baskette; two sisters: Elsie Shamia and Catherine Nicola; and her parents.
