Edward L. Dotson, 45, of Clement Township, died Monday in Veterans Hospital, Battle Creek, after a long illness. Born in Ogemaw County on July 17, 1924, he had lived in Gladwin County 25 years. Mr. Dotson was a veteran of World War II and a mechanic. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Anna Dotson, of Northville; four brothers, Jesse, of Indian Lake, Gladwin, Ernest, of South Lyons, Harry, of Marion and Floyd of Fenton; two sisters, Mrs. Floyd Able, of Ithaca and Katherin, of South Lyons.
Rites will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Hall Funeral Home. Melvin Stauffer will officiate and burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 02-25/1970 Column - 3 Page - 2
