Mae loved God, and faithfully attended and supported Liberty Christian Church, in Green Bay, VA. Mae also loved her country and our veterans. She was a faithful contributor to the Wounded Warrior Project, the DAV, the VFW, and the USMC’s “Toys for Tots” annual drive. Mae also loved her dog, a beagle which she rescued years ago, named “Lady.”

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 18, 2019, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. A celebration of her life of Christian faith will be held Friday, July 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Browning-Duffer Funeral Home. Pastor Chris Shifflett will preside, with internment at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Fort Mitchell, VA.
