Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Clayton Memorial Cemetery in Clayton, N.M., by Hereford Heritage Funeral Home.
Mrs. Abeyta was born April 29, 1924, in Moses, N.M., to Oliver and Nestora Trijillo Martinez. She married Christona "Chris" Abeyta.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Abeyta and Inez Ortiz, both of Salt Lake City; five sons, Daniel Mike Abeyta and Alfonzo Abeyta, both of Hereford, Henry Abeyta of Friona, Louis Abeyta of Taiban, N.M., and Johnny Abeyta of Belen, N.M.; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials be to American Diabetes Association, 8008 Slide Road, Suite 12-A, Lubbock, TX 79424.
