She was married to Walter C. Winn, December 19, 1907. To this union were born three children; Forrest W. and Dorothy C. at home, and Edith A., now Mrs. Joe Kreiss, of Keosauqua, Iowa.
At an early age, Mrs. Winn united with the Methodist Episcopal Church at Lebanon and remained a faithful member.
She is survived by her husband and three children; one grandson, Gary Lee Kreiss; the son-in-law, Joe Kreiss; six brothers, James P. Wilson, Frank Wilson, Willis V. Wilson, Arthur M. Wilson, Paul C. Wilson and Elmer L. Wilson, all of near Milton; one sister, Mrs. Nellie M. Abernathey, of near Milton; also her mother-in-law, Mrs. Anna Winn, of Milton. Her father and mother precedced her in death.
Mrs. Winn was the queen in the home. Her home was her castle. She welcomed the meeting of any and all the church groups, welcomed the young people who all loved to be invited to the Winn home.
Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Bell Winn were held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 15, at the Lebanon Methodist Episcopal Church in charge of the Rev. Lloyd Tennant of Bloomfield. Hundreds of friends and relatvies attended the services.
Music at the final rites was furnished by a Lebanon quartet which was composed of the following singers; Clair Muir, Mrs. Clair Muir, Mrs. Paul Brown and Hazen Beeler. Mrs. Hazen Beeler accompanied them at the piano.
Pallbearers were; Harve McLeland, Cantril, Glen Hargrove, Glen Hagler, Ed Caulkins, L.J. Zihlman and John Rosenbaum, Milton. Burial, in charge of the Burnett Funeral Directors of Milton and Keosauqua, was made in the Lebanon Cemetery.
