The Barren County native was a homemaker and a Catholic. She was a daughter of the late Ray Turner and Cecil McDonald Turner.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cave City Cemetery. Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, James E. Abell; a son, James E. Abell III of Novi, Mich.; a daughter, Nancy W. Abell of Seattle; two brothers, Leonard H. Turner of Daleville, Ala., and Kenneth Ray Turner of Clarksville, Ind.; a sister, Leona Mae Turner of Cave City; and three grandsons.
