Funeral services for Oscar D. Holbert, 55, Decatur 3, who died at his home on Old Moulton Rd. at 12:25 a.m. today after a long illness, are to be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church, the Rev. J.A. Self and J.B. Head officiating.
The body was to be taken to the home of his son, Windle Holbert, Austinville-Cedar Lake Rd. at 2:30 p.m. today.
Pallbearers are to be Sidney, William and Ernest Holbert, F.C. Jones, Claude Earwood, John E. Roberts, Ted Coker and O.B. Beddingfield.
Burial is to be in Roselawn Cemetery with Brown in charge.
Survivors are the widow; five daughters, Mrs. Floyd Abbott, Uniontown, Ala, Martha, Dorothy, Elaine and Betty Ann Holbert, all of Decatur 3; three sons, Winford, Windle and Kenneth, all of Decatur; five sisters, Mrs. Osie Wood, Louisville, Ky; Mrs. Mary Story and Mrs. Vester Miller, both of Trinity; Mrs. Thelmo Oden, Jacksonville, Fla, and Mrs. Elabell Johnson of Chicago.
