OBITUARY
ALFRED E. ABRAHAMSON
Alfred E. Abrahamson was born at Grand Forks, N. Dak., on Feb. 16, 1883 and moved to Sheyenne, N. Dak., with his parents at the age of 2. They made their home there until moving to a farm at Tokio, N. Dak., in 1916, where he lived until 1938, and had lived in the Binford, N. Dak., and Aneta, N. Dak., communities until moving to the Aneta City about 8 years ago where he had made his home since.

Mr. Abrahamson was married to Rebecca Tufteland at Jamestown, N. D., on February 6, 1906. Surviving relatives include: his wife, Mrs. Rebecca Abrahamson, 2 daughters, Mrs. Arnold (Beatrice) Leland, Mayville, N. D., and Mrs. Samuel (Bertha) Lawson, Seattle, Washington; 5 sons, Edward, Enderlin, N. D., Alfred E. Jr. Seattle, Washington, and Henry of Aneta, N. D. 3 brothers, Charlie, Tokio, N. D., Alex, Tacoma, Washington, and Algot,, Polson, Montana. 2 half-brothers, Fred and Henry Ponto, of Sheyenne, N. D., 1 sister, Mrs. Martin Peterson Gaylord, Minnesota, 3 halfsisters, Mrs. Lillian " Kavaney, Seattle, Washington, Mrs. Harold Swanson. and Mrs. Gust Ohman of Sheyenne, and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers,

Mr. Abrahamson passed away at the Lutheran- Memorial Home , at Mayville, N. D., on Tuesday, morning, March 2, 1965 after an illness of about 3 years at the age -of 82 years and 16 days.

Funeral services were held at; Sundahl Lutheran Church at Aneta, N. D., on Friday, March 5, 1965 at 2 p.m. Rev. J. J. Ballweber officiated. Music was by Rev. Lloyd C. Jorgenson.

Active pallbearers were Maynard Goplin, Gordon Overby, Alvin Miller, Geoge Burros, Kenneth Fougner, H M, UlvicK Honorarynallbearers were Ed Field, Albeit Bjerkenaas, Peter Jacobson, Henry Miller, Kenenth Edlund and Palmer Korvig.

Interment was at Cemetery, Aneta, N. arrangements by T. Funeral Home.
