James E. Abendroth, former
Tipton resident and a graduate
of Tipton High School May 27,
1960, died last Tuesday, Decoration
Day, of drowning, and his
body was found Friday near
Salt Lake City, Utah. Services
will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday
from St. John's Catholic Church
with Rev. Jerome Walski officiating
and burial will be in
Fairview Cemetery. Friends
may call at the Young-Nichols
Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today
where a Rosary Service will
be held at 8 o'clock this evening.
The deceased was born April
20, 1942, son of Carlton and
Mariam (Smith) Abendroth. of
Tipton. He was married December
28, 1963 in Kokomo to the
former Teresa Thompson, who
survives.
Also surviving is the mother,
now residing in Indianapolis,
and a daughter, Angela Abendroth,
at home with her mother in Kokomo.
