Born in Polk County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Nettie (Newton) Shehan and the widow of Charles Abrams who died in 1997.
Mrs. Abrams was a seamstress for many years and a longtime member of Sandy Plains APR Church.
Surviving are two brothers, Daniel Shehan of Mill Spring, NC, Wayne Shehan of Green Creek, NC, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 4, 2012 in Sandy Plains ARP Church with Rev. Jim Mitchell officiating. Burial was in Sandy Plains ARP Church Cemetery.
The family received friend prior to the service from 12:15 to 1:45 p.m. in the church.
Memorials could be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive.
