CASPER - Funeral services for Leslie William Cain, 89, of Mountain View Addition, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Bustard Funeral Home. Dr. Thomas Norman of First Christian Church will officiate with burial in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Cain died Thursday morning in Mountain View after a short illness.

He was born Nov. 3, 1890, at O'Neill, Neb. The family moved to Rozet, Wyo. in 1913, and later to the Gillette area in 1918. He married Bertha Osborne on June 3, 1918 at Gillette. Cain had also worked on several building projects including the Alcova Dam and the airport. He was superintendent of maintenance for the air base near Casper for several years.

Cain was a member of the First Christian Church. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Oscar (Pauline) Annis of Alcova, Mrs. Larry (Phyllis) Schroeder of Houston, Texas, and Mrs. Ron (Margaret) Weening of Windsor, Calif.; two sons, Robert L. Cain of Casper and Roger Cain of Salinas, Calif.; one brother Ivan Cain of Whitefish, Mont.; two sisters, Esther Goodykoontz of Eugene, Oregon, and Helen Palmer of Alaska; 26 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1974.
