The Wellington Leader October 10, 1929

Roscoe Leeman Tennison died Tuesday at 12 o'clock at the Wellington hospital, following an operation for appendicitis which was performed Saturday. When the operation was performed it was discovered that his appendix had burst, and although every medical attention was given him his condition was so far advanced that death was inevitable. Mr. Tennison was 33 years of age, having been born September 18, 1896 the Indian Territory. He had resided in Collingsworth County for a number of years and was engaged in the farming business. Relatives surviving1 are his parents, Mr and Mrs N. C Tennison of Wellington; his wife, Mrs. R L. Tennison and four Children; nine brothers and sisters who are R C. Tennison of Idalou, L. F. Tennison, C C. Tennison, Mrs. O.C. Bumpas, Mrs. J. A, Winter, Bertha Tennison Velma Tennison,and Ina Lou Tennison, all of Wellington.
