Mr. Armstrong was born April 10, 1923, in Wisner, La., a son of Dennis Armstrong and Annie Parker Armstrong McDaniel.
He is an Army veteran of W.W.II. He is a member of United Pentecostal Church of Moncks Corner.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret L. Shows Armstrong; five sons, Doyle L. Shows, Jerel M. Armstrong, Kenneth Roy Armstrong, and John Dennis Armstrong all of Beaufort, and Rev. Charles Armstrong of Moncks Corner; nine sisters, Dollyb Privett of Tioga, La., Clarence Williams, Dixie
Williams, Sally Adams, all of Newellton, La., Elsie Ruth Kelly of Rayville, La., Joyce Felter and Shirley Floyd, both of Natches, Miss.,Ina Foster of W. Monroe, La., and Carol Cannon of Baton Rouge, La.; one brother, Amos McDaniel of Newellton, La.; numerous grandchildren
and numerous great grandchildren.
