Mrs. Privett, age 82, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Monday, June 7, 2004 in The Oaks Care Center, Pineville.
She was a native of Tensas Parish, a retired bookkeeper with Delta Hardware, a lifelong member of the United Pentecostal Church and an avid church worker.
Mrs. Privett is preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Luther M. Privett.
Survivors include her two sons, Finley H. Privett of Atlanta, Texas, and Rev. Donald Privett of Pineville; eight sisters, Clarice Williams of Newellton, Elsie Kelly of Alto, Bunnie Felter and Shirley Floyd of Natchez, Miss., Dixie Williams and Sally Adams of Newellton, Ina Foster of West Monroe and Carol Cannon of Baton Rouge; one brother, Amos McDaniel of Newellton; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call Wednesday, June 9, 2004 from 9 a.m. until time of services at 10 a.m. at Tioga United Pentecostal Church.
