Andy Aaronson, an inmate of the county home, died the morning of June 5, 1920, from cancer of the stomach. He had been in poor health for some time, and for the past few days had been declining rapidly. He was 52 years old and born in Burlington. For a number of years he lived in the neighborhood of Alexis. Where he left many friends. He was survived by one brother in Kansas. His funeral was held at the Turnbull and Lofftus undertaking parlors, and burial was in the Monmouth cemetery.
