Aunt Malinda Elliott, widow of W. M. Elliott, was born in Indiana July 12, 1817, and died July 26, 1902, aged 85 years and 14 days. She was the mother of ten children, six sons and four daughters. Eight children are left to mourn the loss of an affectionate mother.

Aunt Malinda was loved by all who knew her. She had suffered for many months from the effects of a cancer. She was laid to rest in Wesley chapel cemetery Saturday evening.
