Agnes Eanes Aaron, 85, of 15368 Callands Road, Callands, VA died Thursday, April 29, 2010 in Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Born January 25, 1925 in Henry County, she was the daughter of the late Claude Swanson Eanes and the late Grace Walker Eanes. She was a homemaker, and a member of County Line Christian Church. She was married to Willie Harding Aaron who preceded her in death on July 2, 2005.
Mrs. Aaron is survived by a son, Dale Aaron and a daughter, Kimberly Aaron Bullington, both of Burlington, NC; a sister, Joan E. Newman of Martinsville, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Marshall Eanes, Robert Eanes and Melvin Eanes.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at County Line Christian Church, 12711 Chatham Road, Axton, VA with Minister Dean Ashby officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Family will receive friends at the church on Sunday, May 2, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and at other times will be at the residence, 15368 Callands Road, Callands, VA.
