Fred W. Abbott , age 76 of Lithonia, was a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #72 for over 55 years. Mr. Abbott is survived by his wife, Janet Abbott of Lithonia; daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Tommy Hogeland of Conyers; Judy and Barry Seagraves of Chesapeake, VA; Pam and Alan Tucker of Conyers; Patti and Allen Sexton of Conyers; sons and daughters-in-law, Fred K. and Terri Abbott of Conyers; Donnie W. and Janice Abbott of Decatur; sisters, Hazel Wells of Jacksonville; Ethel Lister of Tucker; Ruby Wells of Butler; Anita Mitchell of Conyers; Sequel Hadaway of Lilburn; Jill Abbott of Lithonia; Joy Murphy of Lithonia; Alice Frix of Lawrenceville; brothers, Hubert Abbott of Conyers; J.W. Abbott of Savannah; Tommy Abbott of Lithonia; 16 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday from Ward's Rockdale Chapel at 3 p.m. with Rev. Jim Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Green Meadows Memorial Gardens.
