Duane "DJ" Abbott, II, 28, of Davenport died Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at his residence. Services will be 1:00 pm Monday, October 5, 2009 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel with visitation two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.

Duane was a 2002 graduate of Central High School and had worked for United Parcel Service for the past nine years prior to his death. As a hobby, Duane enjoyed hunting and fishing, but, most of all he was a proud family man who spent time with his children, loving family and friends, who will all dearly miss him.
Those left to honor his memory include his parents, Duane and Christine Abbott, Davenport, fiancé, Renea Clark, along with his two children: daughter, Brooklyn Abbott and son, "little" DJ, all of Davenport, sisters: Tami Lynn (Gary) Michaud, Wyoming, IA; Brenda (Dani) Lucas, Doris Abbott, Jody (Steve) Wollett, Hope (Dan) Ware, all of Davenport.
