Graveside services for Davis native Kenneth Earl Brashears, 77, will be held Friday, June 25, at 10 a.m. at Green Hill Cemetery in Davis.
He was born April 8, 1933, in Butler to the late Douglas V. and 0llie Gertrude (Broom) and died June 21, 2010, in Beaumont, Texas, from injuries receive in a motor vehicle accident.
Hale's Funeral Home of Davis is in charge of arrangements.

Kenneth Earl Brashears was born April 8, 1933, in Butler to the late Douglas V. and 0llie Gertrude (Broom) Brashears. He died Monday, June 21, 2010, in Beaumont, Texas, at the age of 77 years, 2 months and 13 days from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Kenneth served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict as well as the Vietnam War. After retiring from the Navy with 20 plus years, Kenneth enjoyed fishing and driving his Ford Mustang.
Kenneth is survived by one sister, Jewel Aaron of Davis; two brothers, William "Bill" Brashears of Lawton and James Leroy Brashears of Amarillo, Texas, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Bertha Reina Tate, Ella May Bray, Norma Jean Rimnear and Mildred Aaron, as well as three brothers, D.B., Gaylen and Calvin Dale Brashears.
