Helen T. Albers, 88, Park, died Friday, May 14, 1999, at her home.

Mrs. Albers was born Helen T. Schulte on Oct. 15, 1910 at Walker and was a resident of Park since 1964. She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar Society, Park.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anton in 1997; a son, Julian in 1953; a grandson and a great-granddaughter.

Survivors include three sons, George of Grinnell, Bernard of East Lake, CO, and Ronald of Colwich; four daughters, Marie Esparza of Mesa, AZ, Lucille Houston of Tempe, AZ, Twila Stover of Salina and Rtia Vavricka of Ness City; 31 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.

The funeral was held at 10:30 a. m. on Wednesday, May 19 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Park, the Rev. Mark Berland officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the church, American Diabetes Association, for her Masses. Schmitt Funeral Home, Quinter, was in charge of arrangements.
