Mrs. Woodward
Mrs. Minnie Fortner Woodward, 92, of 4528 North State Sr., died Monday after a short illness.
Her survivors include a son, Harry Neal Fortner of Signal Mountain, Tenn., five grandchildren, Mrs. Patricia Neal Warren, Richard Fortner, Dawn Fortner, all of Jackson, Gay Fortner Hanna of Gulfport, and John Fortner of Columbus; and three great-grandchildren.
A native of Flora, she had lived in Jackson 60 years. She was a member of Broadmeadow Methodist Church, of Grand International Auxiliary of Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, the Order of the Eastern Star, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Hinds County Women's civic Club. She was also a member of Gov. Ross Barnett's and Gov. Paul B. Johnson's Women's Staffs..
