Funeral services were conducted on Oct. 16 at 1 p.m. in Van Leuven Funeral Home, Columbia Falls, Mont. for Ted Aaberg, formerly from Bemidji, who died on Oct. 13. He was 77 years old.
Interment was in Glacier Memorial Gardens in Montana. Pallbearers were Art Albrecht, Harry Davidson, Matt Finberg, Bill and Kenneth Knapton and Don Mansfield.
Mr. Aaberg was born on Jan. 25, 1899 in Wadena. He moved with his parents when he was young to Shevlin. On July 1, 1924, he married Helga Holm in Bemidji. They moved to Columbia Falls in 1946 and his wife died in April of 1957. He married Laura Calbert on Feb. 22, 1960.
Mr. Aaberg was employed by the Plumb Creek Lumber Company until he retired in 1969.
He is survived by his wife, one son, Orville, one daughter, Mrs. Delores Hamilton, both of Columbia Falls; eight grandchildren, one brother and seven sisters.
