Maggie and her 1st cousin, Mary Foster, married the brothers William "Paul" and James "Clinton" Dean.
Maggie's niece, Retta Ackley, married Paul and Clint's nephew, James Dean.

Maggie Ellen (Walker) and William Paul Dean had 8 children.

In November 1941 Maggie was living in Estancia, New Mexico.

Maggie Ellen (Walker) Dean, 74, of Estancia, New Mexico, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 1954, after a long illness.

She was member of the Church of God.

Maggie is survived by four daughters, Ruth M. Elliott, of Estancia, NM; and Hazel Denham, Pauline Nidey and Flora Mae Estes, all of Albuquerque, NM; and two sons, Roy Dean of Estancia, NM, and Major Dean of Belen, NM.

Pallbearers were: Bennet Wiggins, Bishop Grassham, Arnold Verenn, R. M. Spruill, Burr Milburn and Arthur D. Farmwalt.

According to Lucy (Dean) Spillers, at one time Maggie was in possession of the Dean family Bible which contained the statistics for the Dean family. According to Jimmy Estes, his brother got the Dean family Bible when Maggie died.

The Elaine Artlip research has listed Maggie's birth location as Lincoln, NE; but according to J. M. Estes her birth location is Riverton, NE, which would then match that for her sister.
