Gladys M. Abraham, 83, of Elk Point, S.D., died Sunday (March 3, 1991), at the Prairie Estates Care Center in Elk Point.

Services were held Wednesday at the Brule Creek Lutheran church in Elk Point. Rev. Leslie Hernes officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery, under direction of Anderson funeral home in Elk Point.

Miss Abraham was born March 22, 1907, on a farm north of Spink, S.D., daughter of Andrew and Lizzie (Satter) Abraham. She had been an Elk Point resident for the past 50 years.

She was a lifelong member of Brule Creek Lutheran church, and had been baptized and confirmed there.

Survivors include a brother, Edwin Abraham of Hawarden; four sisters, Laura Ronning of Alcester, Evelyn Jolin and Eleanor Clausen, both of Sioux City, and Florence Petersen of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and 18 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by six brothers, Gust, Albert, Alfred, Obert, Richard and George; and a sister, Anna Ronning.
