Illa Mae Lloyd Lawson age 95, of the Norma Community, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2010 at her Sons home. She was born August 21, 1915 in the Norma Community to the late Billy and Maggie Jeffers Lloyd. She was a Member of the Norma Baptist Church.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband: Everett Lawson; (2) Daughters Betty Lou Lowe of the Fairview Community and Billie Jean Lloyd and husband Donald of Owensville, Ohio; Daughter-in-law: Bernice Silcox Lawson (2) Infant Grandchildren; Brother: Charles Lloyd; Sisters: Magel Robbins, Nona Alcorn and Audry Arron.


She is survived by her Sons: Shirley Lawson and wife Janetta of St. Fork Community, Roger Lawson of Jacksboro, Rick Lawson and wife Leatha of the Norma Community, Lester Lawson and wife Shenia of the Winona Community; Daughters: Ilene Lloyd, Donna Lowe both of the Norma Community; (23) Grandchildren; (41) Great Grandchildren; (13) Great Great Grandchildren; Sisters: Uldean Craft of Albany, Kentucky, Irma Reed of Somerset, Kentucky; Brother: James Lloyd and wife Mary Ellen of Somerset, Kentucky; Special Niece: Louise Sexton of Huntsville; a host of Nephews, Nieces and many other family and friends. Illa helped raise (6) of her Grandchildren: Rhonda, Randy, Brian, Sonya Cody and Stacy.


The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Sunday Evening, October 10, 2010, in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M., Monday Afternoon, October 11, 2010 at the Norma Baptist Church with Grandsons Jeff Lloyd, Dewayne Lawson and Larry Lowe Officiating. Music will be provided by the Norma Baptist Church Choir. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery.


Pallbearers will be her Grandsons.


Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville is in charge of the funeral arrangements for the family of Illa Mae Lloyd Lawson.
