Severn, Feb 29 — Mrs. Martha Ann Martin Odom, 83, died early Monday morning at the home of her niece, Mrs. Willie Joyner. A native of Northampton County, Mrs. Odom was the daughter of the late Harrison and Rebecca Johnson Martin and was born March 22, 1856. Funeral services were conducted at the Severn Methodist Church, Tuesday afternoon at 3 pm.
Surviving Mrs. Odom are her sons; Eugene, Archie and Gordon Odom of Norfolk, VA and Paul Odom of Emporia, VA; her daughters, Mrs. E. F. Wall of Rocky Mount, NC, Mrs. R. S. Ricks and Miss Mattie Odom of Severn; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Ella Joyner of Murfreesboro.
