1st Marriage; 11 Apr 1850 in Putnam County, Indiana to Dr Lafayette Cornwell.
2nd Marriage; Found this 2nd marriage; 28 July 1875, to Peter Ridgeway. The place was taken in Bigelow, Holt county, Missouri. Still look for Peter's DOD & Burial place. Hopefully will find him.
3rd Marriage; 13 Jan 1881 to Amos Abbott in Mankato, Jewell county, Ks. Marriage Record is in Book A; Pg 410. It showed Martha's last name as of Ridgway when she married Amos.
6 Children; Rebecca, George, Charles, William T, one male name unknown & one female name unknown.

Another Old Settler Gone
Grandma Abbott, another of the old and respected settlers passed away at the home of O. VanDusen in this city Tuesday evening at seven o'clock. Her husband , familiar to all as Uncle Abbott preceded her about one year.
She was in the neighborhood for eighty-seven years and was one of the oldest settlers of this county. Since the death of her husband she has been making her home with the VanDusen family. The funeral will be held at the home with interment at the Oak Creek cemetery south of this city.

This obituary did not give much information on the town in Putnam county, Indiana where she was born in, also did not explain her life.
